Accredited Level 2 - Practical Solutions for Dyslexia Support

This programme is intended to equip candidates with an understanding of the issues that dyslexic individuals face, and how they can be supported to develop coping strategies that will assist them in the workplace, in learning, and in day-to-day life.

The BDA delivers a Level 4 accredited programme to train work-based assessors. On successful completion of the programme, participants will be able to assess individuals with dyslexia or other Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) for adjustments within the workplace. The aim of the programme is to provide the necessary knowledge and skill for delegates to be able to perform this role and includes the appropriate research and applications in this area.

This programme is intended to provide a greater understanding of the problems that dyslexic learners face, and appropriate methods and resources to help support them to develop skills for successful independent learning.

Accredited Level 2 - Practical Solutions for Hidden Difficulties

This programme is intended to provide a greater understanding of dyslexia, along with a range of some of the more commonly diagnosed learning difficulties including: Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD); Attention Deficit and Attention Deficit Hyper Activity (ADD/ADHD); Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia. For each of these SpLDs the possible causes, signs and indicators and possible support strategies are explored.
