Local Hubs Project

Local Dyslexia Hubs are a community – not a physical place. Instead of being based in one location, our Hubs bring people together through volunteer-led events, awareness talks, and online support. It’s all about connection, understanding, and sharing experiences, wherever you are.

Created in response to gaps in local dyslexia support across the UK and growing requests for an in-person offer from the British Dyslexia Association (BDA), our Local Hubs are designed with and for the dyslexia community.

We’re currently building strong relationships and sharing resources in our initial Local Hub Areas — Northern Ireland and South Wales.  We are also seeking volunteers to help support our new area in Devon. Our dyslexia awareness talks are volunteer-led, taking place around volunteer locations and availability. If your area isn’t yet covered by a Local Hub, please check our Dyslexia Network to see what support may already be available near you.
