Accredited Level 2: Practical Solutions to Support Learners with Dyscalculia and Maths Learning Difficulties

This accredited course requires the attendance of all 6 modules listed below and the completion of a workbook demonstrating your understanding of what you have learned from the lectures.

• What is dyscalculia and how can we identify it?
• What are the theories behind good teaching of maths.
• Developing early number skills.
  
• Using concrete materials to develop conceptual understanding.
• Maths anxiety and how to support it.
• Developing an individual learning programme and specialist lessons plans.

Who is it suitable for?

This programme may suitable for education professionals who work closely with those who have dyslcalculia, either in a teaching or supporting role, or those who wish to develop their skills in this area in order to move into a role more oriented toward SEN or student support.
