Dyslexia in the IT sector

It's no secret that many neurodiverse individuals gravitate towards the IT sector when it comes to work. The skills that come with neurodiversity are often particularly valued in these areas; creativity, problem solving and big picture thinking are all vital in this sector and are often dyslexic strengths.

It was therefore a great opportunity to share ideas and latest thinking with like minded individuals when CEO Helen Boden spoke at a recent meeting of the NeuroCyberUK network, hosted by EY.

Like the BDA, this group are committed to pushing forward the key message, based on solid research, that we need different, agile thinkers in the industry if we are to move innovation forward and ensure that all elusive, competitive advantage.
