Dyslexia Awareness Week 2017
This year Dyslexia Awareness Week runs from Monday 2nd October to Sunday 8th October 2017 and our theme is Positive about Dyslexia.

World Dyslexia Awareness Day takes place on the Thursday 5th October 2017.
Our daily themes will be re-enforcing the Aims of the British Dyslexia Association taking one aim each day.
The daily themes are
- Monday 2nd Oct – Early Identification.
- Tuesday 3rd Oct – Appropriate Teaching Provision.
- Wednesday 4th Oct – Appropriate Assessments.
- Thursday 5th Oct – Reasonable Adjustments.
- Friday 6th Oct – To raise dyslexia awareness.

2017 DAW Packs and Resources
Materials and resources for Dyslexia Awareness Week 2017 can now be accessed and downloaded from the British Dyslexia Association website by clicking here.
This year we have created two DAW Packs for the 2017 Dyslexia Awareness Week (DAW 2017) one DAW Pack for Children & Schools, and another DAW Pack for Adults & Employers.
These packs provide an overview of the week and include posters, videos and training materials along with details of events scheduled for the week.
