BETT 2020

It's always interesting to see what's new in the education sector and the BETT show certainly had a massive variety of offerings.

The best part of a visit to the show is also the opportunity to catch up with the friends, old and new, of the British Dyslexia Association.

We were also really pleased to see our Assured badge proudly on display on the stands of those who have achieved it. The vast array of products can be somewhat overwhelming and there is now so much in the way of choice of technology to support dyslexia. Assured is certainly a useful way to identify those products, or services, that have been through an independent review process for dyslexia to validate them.

Equally there are those products which actually would be useful tools/support for dyslexic individuals but haven't as yet been identified as such, so again it was useful to have this discussion with some of these suppliers.

The British Dyslexia Association were particularly pleased to see Scanning Pens, a long time supporter of the BDA, be named BETT Company of the Year. A very well deserved award, and we would like to say congratulations to Scanning Pens on this great achievement.
